Gladys E. Matthews, aged 86, of Alto, formerly of Grand Rapids, longtime employee of Kent County Social Services Dept., died Friday, December 26, 1986 at Thornapple Manor in Hastings. Survivors include first cousins, Bruce Matthews of Grand Haven, Plynn Matthews of Hastings, Alice Goulon of Atlanta, GA and Kathryn Nielson of Hastings.
