(Sunday, G. R. Herald, June 24, 1923)

Funeral services for Edwin B. Seymour, secretary-treasurer of the A. J. Brown See company, who died of heart disease at his home, 638 Fulton st., E., in which he was born 63 years ago, will be held at the residence Monday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock.  Dean Charles E. Jackson of St. Mark's pro-cathedral will conduct the services and interment will be in Fulton Street cemetery.
Mr. Seymour was born February 15, 1860 and was a son of David Seymour.  He entered the brick-making business with his uncle, Simeon L. Baldwin, but later became associated with his father-in-law, Edward Killean, in the hotel business here and in Elkhart and Manistee.  Eventually he identified himself with the Brown Seed company, where he has remained until his death.
